Taylor Scott Boggan was born on July 18th, 1993 in Levittown, New York. Even as a young child, Taylor kind of marched to a different tune than his fellow students. His parents knowing this enrolled him in a non-traditional school, Montessori, where his creative energies were allowed to flow freely. He would never be able to just sit and do class work, he had too much creative energy and had to find an outlet for it, which he eventually would. In the Montessori school Taylor attended, they would put on plays regularly, and he decided to try out for it. The first role he got was a small part, he was young and the director didn't think he would be able to handle a larger role, but to the surprise of everyone, it was this small role of Taylor's that stood out the most, this is where his talent was first recognized. He finally found his passion, he felt this would be the one profession that you can actually lose yourself in another character, you get to create this person, someone who never existed before, as he would put it. With his constant pleading, and urging of several agents, his parents decided to give him a try and move out to L. A. He would go out on auditions and delve into the characters that he would audition for. His talent was recognized by many a Casting Director, and soon Taylor was well known amongst them. He went to many directors sessions and from there screen testing, but the only problem, Taylor with his dark edgy looks, never could look like the boy next door, and for kids his age these were the roles that were out there, besides Taylor wanted to play in unique roles, roles that stood out from the bunch. He was more of a rebel type, he was not like everyone else, more of an individual, and he ached to play meaningful roles, roles that were important to him, dark roles, the more challenging the role the better. In one popular show he screen tested for, he was to play a James Dean type of character, but the executives didn't want to go edgy with the character and he lost out, that same day the Director and writer of that show, both of whom were rooting for Taylor, called him up personally to tell him how much they wanted him, but unfortunately the executives had their own ideas.

Taylor did star in some great guest lead parts in some populars shows, like "Summerland", and "The Closer", opposite Kyra Sedwick, where he plays a troubled kid, who may have murdered his friend. The Director and Producer of "The Closer", was so impressed with his performance that they wrote him a letter telling him they were amazed at his talent, and he would go far one day, he will always keep that letter. He also got to play a tough kid, whose father is part of a gang and just got out of jail in the show, "Judging Amy". And in the summer of 2009, he has two independent films coming out, both of which he gets to play the lead of two very interesting characters. Now that Taylor is in his teens , he is optimistic that there will be more challenging roles for kids his age. There is no doubt of the talent that Taylor has, it can get discouraging, but he is hanging in there, knowing the right role will come along, with the right person who believes in him and then there will be no stopping him
