ROBIN WEIGERT currently stars as Calamity Jane in the HBO series Deadwood, for which she received a 2004 Emmy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Most recently on Broadway as Poppy Norton-Taylor in the hit revival Noises Off, Robin was nominated for Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel awards for her acclaimed turn in Richard Nelson's Madame Melville, with Joely Richardson and Macaulay Culkin. She both played and understudied Masha in 2001's hot-ticket event, The Seagull in Central Park, directed by Mike Nichols and starring Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline, and last saw Broadway as a member of Lincoln Center's Twelfth Night cast. Her Off-Broadway credits include A Place at the Table (MCC), Arms and the Man (Roundabout), Hamlet, understudying Liev Schreiber (Public), Goodnight, Children Everywhere (Playwrights Horizons), Pride's Crossing (LCT), and The Three Sisters (La MAMA ETC). Robin has appeared regionally at McCarter, Arena Stage, Long Wharf, New York Stage and Film, and the Berkshire Theatre Festival.

Robin played the Mormon Mother in the Golden Globe-winning HBO Films presentation of Tony Kushner's Angels in America, also directed by Mike Nichols, and starring Meryl Streep, Al Pacino, and Emma Thompson. Her other film credits include Sleepytime Gal (Sundance 2001), In God's Hands, and What I Came For, as well as featured roles in the small-screen dramas Without a Trace, Law & Order, Judging Amy, Cold Case and NYPD Blue.
