At age six, Ariel Gade made her first acting appearance in a December 2003 episode of Lifetime's medical drama series "Strong Medicine." That same year, she also starred in the ABC un-picked Western/drama pilot "Then Came Jones," alongside Melissa Gilbert and Sean Patrick Flanery, playing Gilbert's daughter.

In 2004, landed her breakout performance Ben Stiller's daughter in Barry Levinson-directed comedy movie "Envy," which also stars Jack Black. She followed it up with her second film, "Dark Water" (2005), Walter Salles' remake of the 2002 Japanese horror film in which she played a daughter who became the object of custody battle between Jennifer Connelly and Dougray Scott's characters.

On working with Jennifer Connelly, the child actress said, "It was fun working with her. She was so fun to play with. She makes a good set mum."

She also commented about the film, saying "I went to the premiere yesterday; it was sooo cooool!... But for kids who are like under thirteen, they really shouldn't [see the movie], even with their parents. I'm just going to see it because I made it."

Gade got her first TV series regular role in the ABC sci-fi/drama series "Invasion." Her performance as Rose Varon, the daughter of Eddie Cibrian's Russell Varon, earned her a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) - Young Actress Age Ten or Younger. Unfortunately, the show was short-lived. Premiered on September 21, 2005, it was aired for only one season before it was canceled in May 2006. Meanwhile, Gade has appeared as a guest in "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The View," and "Last Call with Carson Daly."
