Ana Caterina Morariu is Romanian actress who lives and works in Italy. Daughter of the famous ballerina Romanian Marineta Rodica Rotaru, Ana Caterina Morariu speaks four languages: Romanian, Italian, French and English. Born in Romania, when he was still a child he moved to Italy with his mother. In 1999 he obtained the scientific maturity at the high school "Benedetto Varchi" of Montevarchi. In 2002 he graduated the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Rome. In the same year he made his debut in theater, then worked in television and film productions.

In 2006, one of the protagonists of the film My Best Enemy by Carlo Verdone, thanks to which he gets a nomination for the David di Donatello for Best Actress. In 2008 he returned to the big screen with the film The blood of the vanquished by Michele Soavi. Numerous TV drama in which he took part, among them: Places in the Heart (2004) by Antonello Grimaldi, De Gasperi, the Man of Hope (2005) by Liliana Cavani, War and Peace (2007) by Robert Dornhelm and Brendan Donnison, Commissioner De Luca (2008) by Antonio Frazzi, The Mystery of the Lake (2009) by Marco Serafini and I will always be your father (2011) by Louis Gasparini.
