Kristen Ruhlin is an American actress. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a BS in Fiber Properties, she moved to New York joining the famed Upright Citizens Brigade, forming her extensive improv background. Ruhlin, then started her NY experience with performing, The O'Neil readings at Provincetown Playhouse for artistic director, Stephen Kenndy Murphy. She soon landed a lead role in, The Danaides, a Yale Drama Alumni play, in which Ruhlin was the only non Yale Alumnus performing.

In 2007 Ruhlin started her film career with small roles in the Tribeca Film Festival selected, Descent starring Rosario Dawson. Pulitzer Prize Winner, David Aburn's directorial debut, The Girl in the Park, starring Sigourney Weaver, Kate Bosworth and Keri Russell. In 2009 she starred in the underwater, Lighthouse, a short, from the producer of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and the Underwater DP of Jaws. In addition to the dark indie, Missing Child, Ruhlin can next be seen starring as the female lead in the up coming romantic comedy, She Wants Me, with Josh Gad and Hilary Duff.
