I was born in Elgin and lived in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois until I was nine. I have three brothers. My acting and singing career began in Phoenix at age nine. After many calls, my Mom found a fabulous teacher, Lori Rost Towne, who taught me voice and acting and gave me a starring role in a children’s musical as well as parts in other children’s plays.

Then my Dad was transferred to Fort Collins, Colorado and I continued my voice and acting there. I trained at the “Debut Theatre” taking classes and performing in plays and improv sketches. I also performed with an adult cast in King Lear performed by the Open Stage Theatre Company – Peter Anthony directing.

During this time I also worked hard on my singing. I’ve always loved singing and dreamed of being a vocal star like Celine Dion. I performed at the mall and at the local coffee house and had one of my songs broadcast on the local radio station. I also won the annual Stars of Tomorrow competition.

My mom used to drive me an hour to Denver for voice lessons with Stuart Whitmore. Stuart is outstanding and has trained the likes of performing artists Stacie Orrico, Rachel Lampa, and others. He introduced me to and convinced me to go to The World Championships of the Performing Arts which is held yearly in Los Angeles and hosts performers from many countries competing for honors in voice, acting and stage performances. I attended and took home gold medals for vocal performances in Pop, Broadway, and Country as well as the overall Grand Championship for a monologue I created from a song about a homeless girl.

By that point I was so hooked on my dreams of being an entertainer that I (along with a couple of managers who had seen me perform) convinced my Mom to let me come to Los Angeles for pilot season and give it a shot. I was fortunate enough to become a cast member on Nickelodeon’s “All That” and find Karen Tobey who is my Voice Coach and Music Manager. “All That” is sketch comedy for kids and I have had the opportunity to play a variety of characters including, Britney Spears, Sharon Osborne and Avril Lavigne etc.

During the past year I have guest starred on WB’s “What I Like About You” and “The Gilmore Girls”. I am also working with a music producer on some original songs that I wrote the lyrics for. I am thankful for the opportunities that I have had and am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead of me in TV, film, and the pop music entertainment world.
