Brody Hutzler joined the cast of Days in February 2004 in the role of Patrick Brian Lockhart.

Brody was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, and is a self-proclaimed "Air Force brat" and has lived in Alaska, Colorado, Ohio, New York, Hawaii, Vermont and Michigan. He attended Michigan State University, where he played lacrosse, and graduated with a degree in biology. He has one sister who lives with her husband in Vermont.

Hutzler's first acting job was as "Craig," the date-rapist, on an episode of NBC's popular Saturday morning hit, "Saved by the Bell." He Other television credits include guest spots on "7th Heaven," "I'm With Her," "She Spies," "Ally McBeal," "Charmed" and "Angel" in which he played the demon "Landok" in multiple episodes. Because of his work on "Angel, Brody is often invited to various "Angel" conventions overseas and attends about two a year. . His favorite destination to date is London. Brody's film credits include "Totally Blonde" and "Legally Blonde."

Most recently Hutzler was seen as "Cody Dixon" on the CBS daytime drama "Young and the Restless" and has also appeared in "As the World Turns" and The Guiding Light." Hutzler credits Alan Alda in M*A*S*H as his acting inspiration,

Hutzler is single and lives with his cat, Spooky. His hobbies are reading, playing guitar, and most sports, especially tennis, soccer, skiing and boxing. Brody has a collection of European league soccer jerseys as well as an extensive collection of hats to which he is always adding! For the last 5 years he has played in the NBA Entertainment Basketball League. He lives in Los Angeles.
