Anne Son is Canadian actress. While she decided to pursue an acting career, her father was actually a 10th degree black belt Grandmaster of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. Her two sisters didn’t become part of the entertainment industry either. One became an oncology nurse and the other is a classical pianist.

But Anne Son was determined to make it as an actress. She graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and scouted for roles since then. Despite the many bit roles she has received so far, she still persevered and found a place in the small screen.

In 2004, she bagged the role of Toni in the drama What I Want. She was credited as Anne Sohn then, before she changed her name for her next project. Two years later, she was cast as Mandy on the horror flick Dead in the Water. This was followed by a TV pilot called The More Things Change. She portrayed the character Amy in the comedy, but it didn’t pull through.

Anne Sohn then starred in the sketch comedy Extreme Movie, which put her alongside actors like Frankie Muniz, Michael Cera and Jamie Kennedy. Joining the cast were Matthew Lillard, Ryan Pinkston and Joanna Garcia. While she didn’t earn instant fame there, the actress went on to star the romantic comedy Wake. Leading the film was Bijou Phillips, along with Ian Somerhalder, Jane Seymour and Danny Masterson.
