Tate Ellington is an American actor from Mississippi. He is best known for his role as Aidan Hall, best friend of Tyler Hawkins (played by Twilight star Robert Pattinson) in the 2010 film Remember Me. Ellington starred as Oliver Hunt in the 2006 film The Elephant King, and has appeared in television shows such as The Unusuals, Rescue Me, The Good Wife, and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23. He also acted in the 2009 Broadway play The Philanthropist which starred Matthew Broderick.

Ellington received his high school education at the private Madison-Ridgeland Academy in Madison, Mississippi where he graduated in 1997. While at MRA, he was a starting center for the school's football team for three seasons. Upon graduation from MRA, Ellington enrolled as a double major in art and theater at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, after turning down a scholarship to the Savannah College of Art and Design. He graduated from Ole Miss with a bachelor's degree in theatre performance and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Ellington won Best Actor for his role in The Elephant King at the 2006 Brooklyn International Film Festival. On May 20, 2012, Ellington married casting director Chrissy Fiorilli at the Dixie Gin in Shreveport, Louisiana.
