Taryn was born in Vancouver, Canada and was a competitive figure skater (national medalist in ice dancing) until the age of 16. She is a professional actress who is also deeply involved in the New Media space, where she writes and produces webseries, scifi being her genre of choice.
She was nominated for Best Actress at the 2009 Streamy Awards for her role as Michelle in the acclaimed scifi webseries 'After Judgment' and won best supporting actress in 2010 at the Indie Soap Awards for her work in the award winning dramatic webseries 'Compulsions'.

She writes a blog called Operation BABE and has trained in Martial Arts for over 10 years. In her free time she blogs about the changing landscape of entertainment, and studies science, an extension of her passion for science fiction.
