Rachel Sarah Specter was born and raised in the Sunshine State. An ace student, she received a full academic scholarship and graduated with honors from the University of Florida. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2003, Rachel quickly landed her first professional acting gig, making a less-than-stellar debut as a nameless college girl on daytime's Days of Our Lives. Her career continued along a slow path over the next year or so, with a bit part on an episode of Entourage, her sole screen credit for 2004. Things started picking up for Specter in 2005, with minor roles in the indie features Special Ed, Edison and Bald, as well as the straight-to-video Steven Seagal vehicle Today You Die. She also guest starred in episodes of Crossing Jordan, Gilmore Girls and What I Like About You that year.

Specter's credits for 2006 include a guest role on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother and a small part in Lonely Hearts co-starring John Travolta and James Gandolfini. 2007 proved to be her breakthrough year thanks to appearances in a series of not-soon-forgotten RGX ads that began airing early in the year. Shot over a two-day period in February, the commercials have become favorites on YouTube, while Specter's MySpace page became inundated with thousands of visitors who wanted more Rachel.

As her online popularity rose, casting agents came knocking on her door to cash in on her sudden fame. Specter spent much of 2007 working on a number of feature films including the teen sex comedy Parental Guidance Suggested, the extreme sports drama White Air and the coming-of-age tale My Sexiest Year with Harvey Keitel. She also scored leading roles in the Comedy Central parody Not Another High School Show and the American Family sitcom pilot. 2008 looks to be another good year for Rachel Specter, with roles in the big screen comedies Deep in the Valley and I Know What Boys Like, as well as in a remake of the '80s horror classic Prom Night.
