Liana Mendoza AKA "Roxxy" started off as a tap dancer and singer at the tender age of 3 years old. Growing up in a single family house hold her aunt decided to take the young entertainer under her care and began to take her to classes to refine her talents. She continued to flourish and eventually evolved into a jazz and ballet dancer as well. After many performances, Liana decided to also give singing and acting a more serious look.

By age 13 she began both singing and dancing. Not having very supportive parents caused the young entertainer to find her own way of getting seen and heard and began pitching her act to local carnivals, parties, weddings, churches and where ever there was a stage and they allowed her to perform. One church performance led to her finding famed vocal coach Seth Riggs where she studied for 1 year. A woman by the name of Ru Diaz, who was a stranger to the songstress, saw Liana perform and wrote the young artist a several thousand dollar check on the spot so that she may refine her talents even more. That is when it was decided by Liana that this was definitively the career and chosen path for her and not a "hobby" or just something she enjoyed doing.

While filming and working as a professional actor she is also performing as a singer along side mentor and head of 13 Black Records/Universal Sleepy Brown of Outkast. Her hit single "Dirty Thoughts" was soon after picked up as a soundtrack song for the film "I'm Not Like That No More" starring comedians Felipe Esparza and Paul Rodriguez in which she also was cast as "Roxxy"

This is not the only side to Liana Mendoza however as she has been heavily involved in youth programs and charity organizations in the past and present some for troubled youth including: Sober College, Help as One, Love Sees No Color and one program she ran called Students Run LA at Hathaway-Sycamores Children and Family Services in which 5 troubled teens ran the Los Angeles Marathon successfully due to her mentoring and loving spirit. She plans on using her celebrity for giving back as she feels she can reach more people the more people know her.
