Griffin Gluck is a millennium baby, born in Los Angeles, California on August 24th, 2000, to his director father Cellin and producer mother, Karin Beck. Gluck got the acting bug when he went with his older sister, Caroline, to a summer children's showcase of Guys and Dolls at the Palisades Playhouse. At the age of six, he was given the role of Nathan Detroit, and discovered his love for performing. He was then cast in a national Japanese commercial for the Heroes DVD, stealing the spot with his inimitable delivery of the famous Yatta! line. He has since appeared in several TV commercials for the Japanese and American markets.

In 2008, he appeared in the Japanese remake of the film Sideways, directed by his father. In the fall of 2009, intrigued by an audition notice for the musical Oliver! directed by Mariko Ballentine in North Hollywood, he asked his father to take him to the audition and walked out with the lead role.
