Chelsea’s from the mid west…where rock and country music merge…where solid values and high energy meet…and where what matters most is being true to your beliefs. Chelsea Field’s musical career was formed when her parents noticed her talent,…she was 4 years old. Chelsea began taking vocal lessons and performing at any musical function that was available whether it was singing at school plays, singing a solo at church or any other event that was held. At age 8 Chelsea started performing before larger audiences. Chelsea was asked to sing the National Anthem for the Cleveland Indians. Later that year she went on to sing for the Cincinnati Reds, St Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins and others. Through the years Chelsea has sang at numerous National sporting events. Chelsea regarded these performances as exciting and a great honor, but her sights were set for her goal of becoming a full time recording artist. In 2005 she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her dream….to become a successful singer/songwriter in Music City. She started gigging throughout Nashville and played at landmark venues such as “Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge”, “The Stage”, “Whiskey Island” and others. Soon her reputation as a performer opened the door to being booked as a support act for several well known acts such as “Big & Rich”, Jason Aldean, Keith Anderson, Billy Currington, Dierks Bentley, Tracy Byrd, Miranda Lambert to name a few. Although Chelsea’s influences include such diverse artists as Shania Twain and Pat Benatar, her signature vocals, tight and energetic performances and unique songs have enabled Chelsea to create her own space in the crowded field of emerging artists. Chelsea’s band is made up of some of the hottest players in Nashville and they meet at a very exciting place…at the crossroads of Country and Rock. So fasten your seatbelts and come along for the ride.
