American actress Camille Guaty was born in California on June 28, 1979, and is of Latino and Hispanic descent but her family is originally from the Canary Islands. Camille and her family moved to New Jersey when she was five years old, where she performed in community theatre and she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts during a summer in London. Her first big break came she was a finalist on the WB's reality show "Popstars," which led to her film debut in the movie "Chaos Theory" and her television introduction as Maria, the maid in the sitcom "The Help." Camille has had major roles in the television shows "Raising Dad" and "Prison Break" and in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Gotta Kick It Up." In her free time, she enjoys singing Karaoke, riding horses and playing piano and guitar. Her heroes are her family, friends and Selma Hayek. She is currently starring on the hit ABC show The Nine.
