Ana Maria Magalhaes is a Brazilian film actress and director. She was married to filmmaker Nelson Pereira dos Santos, with whom he had a son and with filmmaker Gustavo Dahl with whom he had two children.

One of the most active actresses of Brazilian cinema in the 70s, became director of short and feature films in the 80s. In 2004 he directed Affonso Eduardo Reidy, miss the future.
