But when model Sophie Anderton, 30, arrived at a London charity auction, it was doubly embarrassing. Not just 1 but 2 women were wearing frocks almost identical to hers. And to make matters worse, 2 other guests were wearing tops with similar necklines.
'Sophie was modelling at the event and happily posed on the red carpet in a striking black gown with a dramatic wide, scooped neck, covered with chunky beading,' a source tells the Daily Express. 'Unfortunately, when she went inside it became embarrassingly obvious that she shared her fashion sense with several of the female partygoers. 'There were other ladies sporting almost exactly the same, very distinctive look.' Sophie soon made a hasty exit. 'She toughed it out for a while before saying she was “melting” – although it wasn't actually hot – and haring off to get changed,' says a guest.
