LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Teenage mom Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of pop star Britney Spears, showed off her new baby girl in an OK! magazine exclusive on Wednesday and said being a mother was "so much fun."

Spears, 17, gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann on June 19 and is raising the baby with boyfriend Casey Aldridge in their Mississippi home.

"I love taking care of her. It is so much fun. I just want to hug her and kiss her, and I'm happy all the time," she told OK!.

"Around here everyone has the same focus. The focus is family and that's a good way to live," she said of her plans to live in the South.

Jamie Lynn, whose pregnancy initially shocked both her family and millions of young fans of her "Zoey 101" TV show on Nickelodeon, said she and Aldridge had not set a date for their wedding. Spears and Aldridge, the son of a Tennessee paper mill worker, met at church.

News of her pregnancy was announced in an interview with OK! magazine last December and she was reported to have a $1 million deal with the magazine for exclusive pictures once the baby was born. The magazine declined to comment on its arrangements with celebrities.

Jamie Lynn, who spent much of her pregnancy away from Los Angeles and in Mississippi and Louisiana, said she gave birth naturally and without complications.

"I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed," she told OK!

She added that she had dreams of being a soccer mom.

"I would love being the soccer mom," she said. "They don't have soccer down here, but I would love being the softball mom driving the kids around."

"Zoey 101," a school-based drama shot in California, wrapped production on its fourth and final season last September -- before Spears announced she was pregnant at age 16.
