Singer Ashlee Simpson marries boyfriend Wentz: report

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Singer Ashlee Simpson has married boyfriend Pete Wentz in a ceremony at her parents' home in California, People magazine reported on Sunday.

The 23-year-old Simpson wed Fall Out Boy guitarist Wentz, 28, on Saturday night in front of around 150 guests, the entertainment news outlet reported. Simpson's father Joe performed the non-denominational ceremony.

Simpson's sister and fellow pop star, Jessica, was maid of honor, while guests included American football star Tony Romo, reality television star Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

It is the first marriage for both.
