Late Friday afternoon the body of Heath Ledger was finally been seen transported and a private memorial service has been held in the memory of the celebrity in New York.
The body was being transported to the airport after the memorial service was over. After a layover in Los Angeles, many of his followers believe that his body will be taken to his home town in Perth, Australia.
Ledger will be laid to rest at a close family funeral next week in his home town.
