On the morning of January 23rd, it was reported that there was a $20 bill that was picked up from Heath Ledger’s residence which had some kind of remains on it. The police had given the note for testing and reports have come back spotless.

It looks like Ledger only had prescribed medications in his house which were comprised of Ambien (sleeping medicine), Xanax and Valium, which are both anti-anxiety drugs.

Friends have told that Heath sometimes protest about getting sleepy and exhausted. In an interview with the NY Times, Ledger accepted suffering from anxiety and having problem with sleeping. "Last week I probably slept an average of two hours a night. I couldn't stop thinking. My body was exhausted and my mind was still going." Ledger further told that just taking one pill does not put any consequence on him. He has to take a second pill in order to fall asleep, and then still he gets up after an hour along with his "mind still racing."
