Gwen has been one of my most favorite celebrities and singers. She had been so good to the Indonesians even though they had almost slaughtered her image. And now not only as a music and fashion mogul she also enacts superbly being philanthropist. She is donating $166,000 from her Oct. 30th San Diego concert to scholarships for student who lost their homes in the fires there this past fall.
This scholarship which has been named as the Gwen After-the-Fires scholarship will be open to college students and graduating high school seniors who lost their homes or their source of income in the October fires, which at least killed round about 10 people and destroyed 1700 homes.
