With the heavy task of focusing recent-day genocide, filmmaker Ted Braun journeyed to Sudan's disturbed Darfur area, where he expanded restricted admission to one of the earth’s deathliest hot areas. The outcome is the documentary "Darfur Now," that goes after a cluster of individuals — starting from locals to activists and to United Nations delegates — as they effort to carry fairness to the people of Darfur who have been mistreated by a government-supported mercenaries. The movie is receiving a restricted release on November 2. One of the themes of the documentary is actor Don Cheadle, who gets severely implicated in transporting awareness to Darfur after wrapping "Hotel Rwanda," his praised 2004 film about some other African genocide.
