Daniel Radcliffe is strong-minded to discard his attractive boy wizard image once and for all. Not content with appearing on stage starkers as a troubled stableboy in Equus, he's now auditioning to play a homosexual spy. The actor, who is currently filming the latest Harry Potter movie, wants to play Cambridge scholar Guy Burgess, who as a 1930s boarding school boy fell in love with his friend. The remake of the 1980s movie Another Country is expected to include scenes of nudity, caning and naked homo-erotic romps - but Daniel says he's well up for the challenge. 'I'd never play a gay character just for the sake of it,' the 18-year-old tells the Daily Star. 'But if the script was good and it was a good character, it wouldn't bother me. Playing characters exploring their sexuality is a challenge.'
