Ashlee Simpson’s bf Pete Wentz and Father Joe Simpson attached services to defend the pop singer after a brawl broke out following an MTV Video Music Awards party at the Jet nightclub. Tempers flared after Ashlee was pushed into a wall after security at a Decaydance/GQ party blocked the path to group’s entourage after Pete demanded the group was escorted to a waiting SUV.
The Fall Out Boy star yelled “What are you doing?” at bouncers and punched doormen, according to onlookers. While daddy Simpson drew a finger across his throat saying: “When somebody messes with my baby, then it’s over!”
