Biography of Patrick J. Adams
He made his mark early, in high profile and award winning episodes of "Cold Case" (2003) and "Jack & Bobby" (2004), and has since appeared in hit series including "Lost" (2004), "Friday Night Lights" (2006), "Without a Trace" (2002), "Commander in Chief" (2005), "Heartland" (2007/I), "Ghost Whisperer" (2005), and "Cupid" (1998). Patrick starred as twin brothers in the 2008 ABC pilot Good Behavior (2008) (TV), executive produced by "Veronica Mars" (2004) creator Rob Thomas and directed by Emmy Award-winning director Charles McDougall. In 2009, Patrick signed for the male lead in the one hour drama The Dealership (2009) (TV), starring with Tricia Helfer and William Devane.

Patrick's work in film includes supporting roles in Old School (2003) and 2:13 (2009), and lead roles in The Waterhole (2009); Weather Girl (2009), a 2009 Slamdance entry in which he starred opposite 'Tricia O'Kelley', Ryan Devlin and Mark Harmon; and 2009 Berlin Film Festival competitor Rage (2009/I), directed by internationally-renowned filmmaker Sally Potter, in which he was proud to appear alongside Judi Dench, Jude Law, Dianne Wiest and Steve Buscemi.

A longtime supporter of Southern California theatre, Patrick continues to appear yearly with the Ojai Playwrights Conference, starring in new works by established and developing playwrights. He made his professional stage debut in the landmark, West Coast premiere of Edward Albee's "The Goat or, Who is Sylvia?" The Taper production won several awards, including Best Play. Patrick also produced and directed a hit revival of "Marat/Sade," for which accepted Best Production at the L.A. Weekly Theatre Awards.
