Biography of Scarlett Chorvat
Arriving in America at the age of 5, Scarlett Chorvat started out as a semi professional tennis player before being “discovered” and turned to model. She was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic and has graced numerous covers of magazines, advertising and TV commercials, including for the highly visible Michelob Beer spot, as a woman who walks in on her surprise birthday party in a negligee, and for dental whitening system Crest Whitestrips.

Chorvat subsequently branched out in acting in 2000 when she was handpicked by producer Joel Silver to star as Becca Shaw in the UPN science fiction television show “Freedom.” Premiered on October 27, 2000, the show that also stars Holt McCallany, Bodhi Elfman, and Darius McCrary, was unfortunately axed two months later on December 22, 2000.

Chorvat subsequently starred in an unsold TV series pilot "Stop at Nothing" (2001), co-starring with Deborah Kellner playing two beautiful government agents go deep undercover by posing as rich socialites in order to solve an international defection case. That same year, she also co-starred with Judd Nelson in the mystery/thriller TV movie "Lost Voyage" and played a recurring role as Kitty in the CBS police drama series starring and Jonathan LaPaglia and Craig T. Nelson, "The District."

In the following year, Chorvat co-starred as Mary Sloman, a 'Slo-dancer' at the local bar who seems to have a great interest in Jim's (played by Derek Cecil) well-being, in the ABC/CTV mystery series "Push, Nevada." Unfortunately, the show was short-lived. It ran for 7 episodes before it became one of the first shows to be cancelled during the Fall 2002 season.

Meanwhile, Chorvat appeared in Fred Toye's 24-minute short film "Lost" (2002), alongside Bodhi Elfman and Michelle Stafford, and shared the screen with Jerry O'Connell, Bridgette Wilson, Ryan Reynolds, Bill Bellamy, and Alyssa Milano in Walt Becker's romantic comedy movie "Buying the Cow" (2002). She was also seen in the video "Frank McKlusky, C.I." (2002), starring Dave Sheridan as a clumsy insurance claims investigator goes undercover to expose a conspiracy.

After starring in Steven Sebring's 14-minute short film "DKNY Road Stories" (2004), Chorvat was cast in writer/director Rawson Marshall Thurber's sport comedy "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" (2004; starring Vince Vaughn, Christine Taylor, and Ben Stiller), and in writer/director Mark Roemmich's drama film "Taylor" (2005), in which she portrayed the title role of a mystery woman who arrives in small mountain hallmark type town.

During this time, TV viewers could catch her guest-starring in an episode of the Emmy-winning HBO dramedy series "Entourage" and ABC legal/dramedy "Boston Legal." She was recently seen in an episode of FX network's Emmy and Golden Globe-winning medical drama "Nip/Tuck" and Fox's critically acclaimed action/drama series starring Kiefer Sutherland, "24." She also co-starred with Owen Beckman in an unsold TV series pilot about a blue-collar family living in Philadelphia, "Born in the USA" (2007).

Back on the big screen, Chorvat co-starred in Joseph Rassulo's drama film that explores the experiences of five divorced fathers in contemporary America, "Bull Run" (2006), and in Alan White's drama/thriller film "Broken" (2006), alongside Heather Graham and Jeremy Sisto.

Chorvat is currently on set working on her upcoming film project called "The Perfect Sleep," an action/drama/thriller directed by Jeremy Alter which stars Roselyn Sanchez and Michael Paré.
