| Biography of Jenn Sterger |
| Florida State University student Jenn Sterger parlayed two seconds of national TV time into months of Internet fame in 2005 and 2006. After she and two friends were featured in a bleacher shot of the FSU-Miami football game on 5 September 2005, announcer Brent Musberger commented that "15,000 young red-blooded American men just signed up to go to Florida State next semester." Some of those young men found her in bikini photos on the student web portal Facebook, sent the link to friends, and Sterger was soon the online embodiment of the concupiscent co-ed. Sterger embraced her fame, posing for Maxim and Playboy magazines in 2006. She also began writing a regular column for SI on Campus, an online edition of Sports Illustrated. |
