Tanya Fischer is an American actress, best known for her role as Zoey Waters on the crime-lawyer series The Defenders.Fischer was a Milwaukee Bucks cheerleader from 2003-2004.
Fischer began her career in 2008 in the independent film Assassination of a High School President co-starring Mischa Barton and Bruce Willis.After starring in two short films, Fischer joined the cast of the short-lived Life on Mars remake as Windy for 5 episodes.
Fischer then joined The Defenders, the James Belushi-Jerry O'Connell vehicle, as their assistant, Zoey Waters. The show was cancelled on May 15, 2011. Fischer portrayed Molly, a prostitute, on four episodes of Copper (TV series), an original series from BBC- America. The story revolves around a police detective in 1864 New York City. Fischer is an alumna of the Flea Theater's Bats Theater Company. Fischer is also a member of the shock rock/performance art group the Bambi Killers.
