Susan Kennington was born in Bremerhaven Germany to American parents while her father was a U.S. serviceman. Due to her father's career, her family traveled the world together, their journeys taking them from Germany, to the Philippine Islands, on to North Carolina, Massachusetts, and ultimately to various locations in California. By living in different cultural environments, Susan learned early on, valuable life skills, the importance of building relationships, and gained insights that have remained with her today.
While in school and college, Susan participated in drama, art, voice and dance classes, and was a member of various dance teams, show choirs, and community theater productions. Soon after, Susan started a family and has loved being a mom to her three children. Real estate ventures became her primary business focus, but she never lost her desire to entertain and contribute to worthwhile projects of an artistic nature.
At present, Susan has integrated her creative passion into her career goals, and is well on her way to putting her skills to use. Her first day on a movie set found her with the assignment of being 'transfixed' on George Clooney as he delivered a speech, which required a Coen Brothers' style of humor, something she was happy to be able to provide. From there, she went on to achieve membership in the Screen Actors Guild, and has continued to gain experience and contribute to major films, and television programs. She has studied with various acting instructors throughout the Los Angeles area, and has participated and graduated from a specialized on-camera training course for actors at Actors Certified Training in North Hollywood.
