and former player, currently the head coach of Internazionale in Italy's Serie A. At club level, Mancini played for Bologna (19811982), Sampdoria (19821997), Lazio (19972000) and Leicester City (2001). With Sampdoria, he formed a dynamic partnership with Gianluca Vialli, and led the club to its only scudetto in 1991, four Coppa Italias (1985, 1988, 1989, and 1994), and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1990. Despite his success at club level, Mancini never became a regular for Italy. He only compiled 36 caps and scored four goals for his country. After retiring as a player, Mancini coached Fiorentina (20012002) and Lazio (20022004) before moving to Inter in 2004. He won the Coppa Italia with both Fiorentina (2001) and Lazio (2004). Currently coaching Inter, he has already won Coppa Italia (2005) and Supercoppa Italiana (2005), becoming the most successful Inter coach of the last 10 years.
