Ricardo Andres is an Actor. On the Road, Avengers After 23 years of Naval service, he retired in 1991 as a highly decorated Senior Chief Gunners Mate (E-8), Surface Warfare Specialist. While on active duty, Ricardo spent much of his time touring the world as posting to various at sea and shore assignments allowed. This afforded him to become culturally diverse as compared to his actor counterparts. While on active duty, he received a Bachelors Degree in Technical Education from National University. After retirement, he went on to get his Masters in Education from SDSU.

He used his education to teach High School NJROTC and Continuing Education at the University of New Mexico. Ricardo is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He uses his desire to go above and beyond in his acting career as well. He has signed for extra work on local productions, only to be given principal roles once on set as was the case in two of his last featured films. In several of his most recent movies and TV Series he has had played multiple characters in a single series. Even though Ricardo would prefer to remain a background actor, he does periodically go for Principal parts dependent upon the movie. His last major feature film was "On the Road", where he worked opposite of Alice Braga (Terry) as Ricardo Franco (Terrys Father). "On the Road" was directed by Walter Salles and Produced by Francis Ford Coppola. Ricardo has International status having acted in major motion pictures outside the United States. Ricardo has within the past two years gone on to screen writing.

His first feature length movie "The Deadliest Gun" is in final writing and his Second, as a Co-writer will be filmed in 2012. Ricardo is the co-writer of "The Jack Story" as well as the Assistant Director and a principal actor. Ricardo has started his third film, "Secrets of the Superstition Mountains" (working title) which he hopes to finish and possibly film by the end of 2012.
