Rivers is the only child of Joan and the late Edgar Rosenberg.

In 1989, Rivers graduated from the University of Pennsylvania after reportedly attending Bel-Air’s

John Thomas Dye School.

Rivers landed a gig as co-host for the E! cable network, but currently she and her mother Joan Rivers both work for the TV Guide channel. Some of her more recent hosting gigs were on Out for Blood in 2004, TV Guide Specials: Building the Hollywood Body in 2005, Sexy Stars of Reality TV: Where Are They Now? in 2005, and TV Candy in 2006, the latter for just one episode.

She has also appeared in a number of TV series, such as Beverly Hills, 90210, which starred Jason Priestley, Luke Perry, Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, and Brian Austen Green; Silk Stalkings, which originally starred Mitzi Kapture and Rob Estes; The Comeback; and The L Word. In 1998, Rivers appeared as a female reporter in National Lampoon’s Men in White, a comedy spoofing alien movies, including 1997’s Men in Black, which starred Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.

On the big screen, Rivers first appeared as a little girl in 1978’s Rabbit Test, which was directed by her mother and starred Billy Crystal as the world’s first pregnant man. She later appeared in 1999’s Big Tease, and recently in The Last Guy on Earth, which starred Rob Schneider and a whole group of famous actresses including Elizabeth Hurley, Whoopi Goldberg, Brooke Shields, Joan Cusack, Brenda Strong, Carol Burnett, Yasmine Bleeth, Kathy Griffin, and Cathy Lee Crosby, among others.

Rivers has also raised about $100,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Rivers has been married once, to horse breeder John Endicott, from 1998 until June of 2003. The divorced couple has one son together, Edgar Cooper Endicott, who was born in Santa Monica, California, on December 1, 2000. Edgar was named in honor of the memory of Rivers’ father, Edgar, a renowned British producer who died after committing suicide in 1987.
