Leonie Benesch is a German film actress. In 2009 she played a starring role in the the Palme d'Or in Cannes award-winning feature film The White Ribbon - A German children's story. The criticism Benes called in this context "a discovery". For European coproduction of mysterious incidents in a northern German village on the eve of the First World War, reports Benes got together with Leonard Proxauf the U.S. Young Artist Award as well as the New Faces Award as best young actress. 2010, it was as a friend of Constantin von Jascheroff in Philip Koch drama Picco to see. That same year she had a role in Sophie Mans hero feature film Colours in the Dark alongside Senta Berger and Bruno whole. Leonie Benesch lives in Tubingen and attended the Tubingen Waldorf School.
