Elsie Kate Fisher, born April 3rd 2003, was destined for great things, and it wasn't long before everyone realised it. At age five, a family friend noticed that Elsie had a "flair for the dramatic" and resembled child actress Dakota Fanning. She gave the Fishers contact information for a talent agent who immediately took interest in little Elsie. Within one month of joining the agency Elsie had booked a commercial and a lead role in the animated movie Despicable Me. From there Elsie soared.

Elsie has only been acting for three years but she already has an impressive resume, with over 16 commercials to her name. In 2010 Elsie had four national commercials all airing at the same time. Not only does Elsie book commercials faster than you can say the word, she also has television guest spots in Medium and Mike & Molly under her belt. Elsie's big break came in the form of the 2010 animated movie Despicable Me which she booked in her first month of joining her agency. She voices the character Agnes, a young orphan who, along with her older sisters, is adopted by Gru, a villian out to steal the moon. It took Elsie about 10 trips to Los Angeles to record all her lines for the movie but she said that she 'really liked working on the movie' because she got to meet a lot of friends. Elsie will be reprising her role as Agnes in the upcoming animated feature Despicable Me 2. She has already begun recording her lines, with the movie set for release in 2013.
