Ciara Janson is an English actress best known for her role in Hollyoaks as Nicole Owen. The character of Nicole Owen was Ciara Janson's first major television work. Previous parts include the role of Heidi for a BBC radio drama. She left Hollyoaks on 25 September 2006. Since leaving Hollyoaks in 2006 Janson made her theatrical debut in Bad Blood at the Key Theatre, Peterborough, and will mark her West End debut in 2009 playing Louise in New Boy at the Trafalgar Studios opposite Nicholas Hoult (Skins).

Janson is a prolific voice-over artist, and is a regular voice on BBC3, and her extensive radio credits include Disney’s new version of The Famous Five and various dramas for BBC Radio 4. She also appears as the Doctor's new companion Amy in a trilogy of linked Doctor Who audio dramas, beginning with The Judgement of Isskar. She currently voices the lead character of Lucy on the CBBC cartoon series 64 Zoo Lane. Ciara is the daughter of actors Debbie Arnold (played April Branning in soap opera EastEnders) and David Janson (took over role of Herr Otto Flick in sitcom Allo Allo, series 9) and has a sister called Talia. Her parents divorced in 2002 after 13 years of marriage. She attended Danes Hill School and Epsom College and has been doing voice-over work for advertisements since she was a toddler, adopting many different accents for the roles.
