Alba Galindo was born in the city of Miami on February 26, making her a Pisces. She was taken as a young girl to live in Cali, Colombia where she studied and prepared herself for her main objective in life; to become a recognized model. She relied on her strength, conviction, character, discipline and intelligence, along with a physical beauty that is incomparable. Tools which, used properly, helped her achieve all her goals in life.

At only 17, she began her ascending career in the competitive world of modeling. She was selected, after various trials, amongst few others, to represent across the world, brand names such as Marlboro, Buchanan’s and Johnny Walker. This was her first step towards the professional aspect of modeling. In 2004, she competed in Univision, the most important Hispanic television station in the United States, where she is elected as Miss Republica Deportiva among hundreds of pre-chosen competitors and 10 direct competitors. Thanks to her charisma and drive, Alba continues to work hard. This new experience with Univision in her life has welcomed her to the world of modeling and reporting; being invited to report on “Control” as well.

Even with all her work, she still finds time to dedicate to her acting career, another of her dreams. She studies fervently in Actors Workshop and directly with Raymond Forchion and Roberto Huicochea. Her hard work pays off when she is asked to work for the novella Valeria, a production of Venevision. Now in 2009, she will film her first commercial for AXE, which is also promoting the Soccer World Cup for 2010. For a person like Alba the sky is the limit.
